We Aim To Please is one of the dozens of tunes that Sammy Timberg composed for Fleischer Studio's films. Lyricist Jack Scholl teamed up with Timberg on this. The two composed music together for several Fleischer short films that year, including We Aim To Please, Poor Cinderella, Betty Boop's Little Pal, Keep In Style, When My Ship Comes In and Shoein' Hosses.
