Lil Pal​ is a 1934 short film in Max Fleischer's Betty Boop series. The film was the first to feature Betty's adorable pet - Pudgy The Puppy. The title song Little Pal was written by Fleischer Studio's resident composer and songwriter Sammy Timberg. The lyrics were written by a young Jack Scholl - the lyricist was best know for his work on the film Casablanca, such as the memorable It Had To Be You.
