The title song of the Betty Boop short House Cleaning Blues was written by Fleischer Studio's resident composer Sammy Timberg, with lyrics by Tin Pan Alley lyricist Bob Rothberg. The two worked together to write about a dozen songs for Betty Boop shorts, and they wrote several other songs for Fleischer cartoons.
