In the 1934 Betty Boop short film Ha! Ha! Ha!, the title song that Betty and Koko sing was written by an undetermined composer. The song may have been inspired by similar tunes that were recorded around 1930, such as Ha! Ha! Ha! Polka or Ha Ha Ha! Dann Lach Ich - both German songs from 1930. The 1934 Betty Boop cartoon is a partial remake of Max Fleischer's Out Of The Inkwell classic 1924 short The Cure. Ha! Ha! Ha! - the last theatrical appearance of Koko The Clown.
