FIRST BUD COLLYER APPEARANCE
THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN In the 1940's, Bud Collyer provided the voice for Superman and Clark Kent in The Adventures Of Superman radio show, as well as in Max Fleischer's Superman cartoon series. Collyer first played Superman on the radio in 1940, and from 1940-1941 her portrayed Superman in the cartoon series. In 1950 he began hosting the wildly popular game show Beat The Clock, which made him the first nation-wide game show star. He later hosted many other game shows including To Tell The Truth.
