I CAN'T ESCAPE FROM YOU (SCREEN SONGS) 1936 Before becoming a bandleader, Joe Reichman was an accomplished piano player - he toured extensively in the late 1920's and 1930's. In 1936, Joe Reichman and His Orchestra were featured in the Max Fleischer Screen Songs cartoon I Can't Escape From You. In his time, he was known as "The Pagliacci of the Piano." In the late 1940's, Reichman quit his band and he moved to Texas, where he became a well-known DJ.
